While backtracking through posts on the PhilGenre Stories blog, I espied this nifty contest for non-professional writers sponsored by Powerbooks. Unfortunately, the deadline date for submission will be on 28 February 2009 and that's because the contest started last December 2008.
What it is is you write a short story or an essay recounting how your love affair with reading began because of one particular book. Sounds simple 'no? Minimum 500, maximum 1,000 word entries only.
