Today, aside from the usual blood-related tests I need to undergo to check on the status of my diabetes, my endo has added a test to check the state of my calcium. So, in a few minutes I'll be heading off to Makati Med's Nuclear Medicine Department to undergo an intact PTH assay (whatever that is) as well as the test to check on my calcium, albumin, phosphorus, and vitamin D.
I've been fine the past few months with no spells of hypoglycemia or its counterpart. Hopefully, the tests would prove that.
