I've resolved, for now, not to force myself to write even if it means that for weeks or months, this blog won't get any update.
I just don't have the rhythm right now and rather than come up with something half-hearted and haphazardly, I'd best keep quiet.
And I'm not going online as much as before. I do check my emails and FB account daily but I don't dwell there anymore. I'd rather spent whatever personal time I have left to pursuing other stuff.

I've finally finished The Scar and decided that I would like to read more of China Miéville and that'll happen soon as I still have a Fully Booked gift certificate which will allow me to purchase probably Embassytown. I'm now delving into Stephen R. Donaldson's Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever series with the first book in the first Chronicles trilogy -- Lord Foul's Bane. I already have Books 2 and 3 on hand, all bought second-hand from bargain bookstores, so I'll be ok for the next few weeks or months. It's a new world again for me, even if this book was originally published in 1977. In between the Thomas Covenant books, I can squeeze in Indigo King, the third book in James Owen's The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica children's series, which I bought for just P100 bucks from Power Books' bargain bin.

Last Tuesday evening, arriving at home from work, I found myself playing the guitar which I haven't done for quite some time now. It felt good to play and sing away the day's exhaustion and I would like to have more time to do this more often.

I've been stretching time at the Desk due to projects that have been unending. At any given time, my to-do list has never gone down to 15 tasks. Today, my task list is at 25 with one of these projects having a sub-to-do list of now 30+ items. While a chunk of the tasks are coordination stuff, there are equally-important tasks that need my full attention and time. And I'm sure I've missed jotting down one or two items on the to-do list.
Persevere. Breathe. Suck it up and just do it.
