Happy to report that A Dance with Dragons mass market paperback edition is finally available in local bookstores. Well, to be factual about it, the mass market edition of ADwD is now readily available at National Book Store.
ADwD is the fifth book in George R.R. Martin's fantastic A Song of Ice and Fire epic and the sudden appearance of the book in NBS caught me by surprise yesterday that I salivated when I saw the stack displayed at the bookstore's Greenbelt branch.
Snatched up my copy lest they all go away and I suffer a book-deprivation syndrome (like I did when A Clash of Kings went unavailable for a couple of months after I finished A Game of Thrones). Didn't have the dough for it though so had to use the plastic but as soon as payday comes around in the next few days, I'll pay up for the purchases I made (aside from ADwD, also "plasticked" a book for Elvie and one for Ikai).
With ADwD on hand now, Wizard's First Rule might just get shelved. It might boil down to choosing which one to read first -- ADwD or China Miéville's The Scar.
