The family, along with some friends from the old company, trooped to Laiya, San Juan, Batangas for an early summer weekend. It was an overnight trip and we stayed in a 9-person accommodation called the "Talaba" (Filipino for oyster) in Sigayan Bay Beach Resort.
Below are some pictures from the said weekend trip.
Pictures from top to bottom: a) Swimming was better in the morning during the low-tide compared to the previous night's wet rendezvous. Quite a lot of people were around to enjoy the waters and the sands, b)The Talaba -- our accommodation, air-conditioned room for 9 persons. What's neat about the accommodation was that it allowed you to do your own cooking for an affordable corkage fee unlike in other Laiya resorts where you had to pay for your meals -- no cooking allowed, c) Several of these mushroom-like structures are available along the beach on a first-come, first-served basis, d) Little Ikai and her Auntie off to hit the waters of Laiya, San Juan, Batangas
