I'm not much into politics in this blog (you may have noticed I'm sure if you're a regular visitor) but this message seemed a timely reminder to everyone, be he involved in politics or not.
The message was a bumper sticker inside a tricycle I rode last week. The simple message and the reality it bluntly relayed caught my attention amidst all the political turmoils, controversies, accusations that have been happening lately.
Di ba lahat tayo nandaraya paminsan-minsan? roughly translates into "Doesn't everyone cheat every now and then?" and it's a reality that all Filipinos have to come to grips with no matter how lowly or loft or politically-inclined or politically-aligned or principled you are.
Everyone cheats, that's a fact. What really matters is the gravity of the cheating.
