With the undeniably urgent need to get things done for an upcoming exhibit in Barcelona, Spain, my whole team has been in full throttle this past entire week to meet deadlines. My Brit boss is starting to push the panic button and I do understand his concern.
We've got a booth to design that also needs to be fabricated hopefully and setup in the venue at Barcelona, business cards that need to get printed, brochures that also have a date with the printing machines, life-size cut-outs of an internet sex icon and a boxer who can reconcile opposing forces when he fights for country and his countrymen, and three websites that need to be up and running (and able to collect money) before October 5.
With the above-mentioned stuff still in the middle phase, I asked several of those involved to be present tomorrow for some overtime work. While I don't really have that much to do, I still need to be present if only for moral support while they slave one weekend day for the love of the company.
Hopefully, the mad rush will be over by next week and things will get back to normal until the next show in November.
Writing this post at this late hour is not helping though :P
